Allow it to dry and a fine sheen can be achieved by using a good wax polish over the top. Its creamy paste consistency will penetrate, preserve and protect leather in contrast to most oil type dressings which over-soften leather, weaken its fibres and can also dirty the clothes. This dressing is pleasant smelling and will not go rancid.
